There I found myself, standing under the dim, flickering, eerie haven of the street light. The cool night air rushes my spine, triggering all my senses on high alert. Goosebumps crawl their way onto my skin, as I take in the smell of wet pavement. I'm alone. Or so I thought. It is summer, a beautiful, warm-weathered summer. The days hot, yet not humid, the nights cool and relaxing. Except for this night; this night was eerie, dark, damp and uncomfortable. I feel a bead of sweat roll down the back of my neck. So, since I created this account what let's say...two years ago possibly? I promised myself I'd keep up on this one since my last account was an utter failure. Oh, and lookie what happened; failed to keep up with my promises. So, I've decided it's time to re-start and HOPEFULLY, no promises that I stay with this one. CHAPTER ONE When you were growing up did your parents ever give you a specific time to be home? Well mine did, and it drove me up the Great Wall of China and back. I always wondered ‘why do I always have to be in at EXACTLY this time? All of my friends get to go home whenever they want!’ I’d beg and plead to get ‘unlimited time’ outside, but was always turned down. Whenever the street lights outside of my house would come on I’d have to be inside. Every. Single. Night.
